Phoebe Dynevor, who plays the beloved Daphne Bridgerton, has announced she will not be returning for the third season of Bridgerton. Dynevor confirmed the news during an interview last year, stating that she felt it was "time to say goodbye" to the character that had brought her so much joy and success.
Dynevor's departure from the show marks a significant change, as she has been a central figure in the series since its premiere in 2020. Her chemistry with Regé-Jean Page, who played Simon Basset, was one of the key elements that made the first season so popular.
